Welcome to the website for the Girls Rock and Roll Retreat. We also call it Girls Rock Camp. This is a day camp in the month of July and you can sign up for a week for fun filled lessons, band practice, art class, seminars and lots of other fun stuff. DVD's are now available
order your DVD from the girls rock camp concert. Please indicate if you want July 11th Concert of July 18th Concert. Please e-mail me at rebekkafisher@comcast.net and supply your address and I will mail it to you. We ask a donation to WIMMN to cover the expenses. That can be mailed to PO Box 7152, St Paul, MN 55107. $5-10 would be great.

This annual day camp offers 5 days of music lessons, playing in a band, art classes, and a final concert.
Because this is just for girls, they find support and friendships in others who have the same desire as them; to be noticed, appreciated and find and nurture their inner talent through creativity.
The 5 days are loaded with hourly classes including songwriting, body image, playing on a stage, using a microphone, how to use pedals for your guitar and any other specifics for each instrument with qualified and experienced teachers in the field of music. The last day of the retreat will be a concert on a Friday night to showcase what the groups have been working on. The bands will all perform an original they wrote during the week and will receive a copy of the concert on CD!
